About Nordiska Kök
In the legacy of Scandinavian design, we create our bespoke kitchens at our carpentry studio located just outside Gothenburg, Sweden.
All our kitchen designs can be customized to your preference and are available in any color and in a wide variety of materials and treatments. Each cabinet and drawer are tailored in size and design to create that unique bespoke aesthetic for your kitchen space.
We lead you through the complete design journey, and create a kitchen designed for years of living and loving, carefully constructed to embody your deliberate preferences and unique requirements.
Our vision
The digital kitchen company
We started Nordiska Kök in 2017 with a clear vision to digitalise quite a traditional industry and to offer high-end, design-led kitchens that were fully bespoke but reasonable in price.
We wanted to be able to offer our customers the freedom to choose measurements, colors and materials entirely according to their needs, wishes and conditions.
Our mission therefore became to challenge the traditional kitchen industry, which has both sold and built kitchens in the same way for years, and instead offer Swedish-made quality kitchens in a new, digital way. By digitizing the entire purchase, in everything from inspiration to customer meetings, and not using dealers, making home visits or having staffed showrooms, we can do just that.

Residence Magazine’s Design Awards 2018 for "Producer of the Year" has been awarded to Nordiska Kök which offers a premium edge in the same price range as mass-produced kitchens and in doing so have opened up interesting new directions for design kitchens.
By bringing new thinking and innovation to this traditional industry with online sales and smart marketing, we can focus on helping our customers make their dream kitchen in a smoother way. Nordiska Kök shows that it is possible to produce locally, neatly and sustainably all at a reasonable price.
The kitchen is the place where it all happens — it truly is the heart of the home. The smell of coffee, the long breakfast, the natural gathering place at parties. But the road to the perfect kitchen is not always easy. We are often guided by pre-made templates created by traditional kitchen companies. Here at Nordiska Kök, we want to change all that. “We started the company to create something that we ourselves lacked in the market. Our own experience in kitchen renovation left a lot to be desired while also ending up a lot more expensive than we first thought. We wanted to give that special power of creativity back to our customers,” said Johan Lundkvist, who, along with Magnus Vansvik and André Strömblad, founded Nordiska Kök in 2017.
We sell and design bespoke premium kitchens that have been fully customized to our customer’s wishes. We offer great flexibility in color, size and material but all in a price range that easily competes with mass-produced standard kitchens. Our vision is to help our clients create a timeless kitchen that will last for a long time to come.

All of our kitchens are built in our own carpentry studio outside of Gothenburg. By cutting out the need for costly showrooms, retail space, and scheduled home visits, we’ve made the full process entirely digital, everything from inspiration to order. Each one of our kitchens is entirely unique. “Our customers are often younger and interested in interior design. They are looking for inspiration on Instagram and Pinterest, and as such we have invested in these channels.”
"We want to create engaging content by working with interior designers and brands that share our values." The next step is to take Nordiska Kök to the global market. “Nordic design continues to inspire all over the world; we receive a huge demand from Amsterdam, Paris and New York.” At present, Nordiska Kök primarily invests in the Nordic market where they’ve made kitchen dreams better than ever.

Locally produced in our carpentry in Sweden, all our kitchens are built entirely from scratch based on our customers' needs and wishes. All of our kitchens are available in your choice of color and a variety of materials. Each cabinet and drawer is then carefully adapted in size and design to create that exact, bespoke aesthetic.
