THE design process
Four simple steps
Building a bespoke kitchen shouldn’t be complicated or expensive. That’s why we at Nordiska Kök have made it simple. One of our kitchen designers will guide you through every step—from the first idea to installation —tailored to your needs.
Our process is outlined in four simple steps below.
1. Initial Contact
Start by filling out your contact details. In order for us to move forward with your project we will ask you to upload the measurements of the room. You are welcome to use our simple measuring guide for support.
You’ll also receive access to our digital moodboard, where you can share your preferences regarding materials, styles, colours and other details with us. This will serve as the foundation when our design team begins planning and designing your new kitchen.
2. Design & Quotation
In the next step, a digital start-up meeting is scheduled with one of our experienced kitchen designers. Together, you’ll go through your wishes and ideas. After the meeting, you’ll receive a free-of-charge, fully customised design sketch as well as a quotation.
Once you've received your design sketch, you are welcome to visit one of our Showrooms. If you prefer to have colour and material samples sent to your home, that’s perfectly fine too.
3. Placing an order
Together with your kitchen designer, your project is planned down to the smallest detail, covering design, functionality, and optional features – whether you are looking for a kitchen, bathroom furnishings, storage or other custom carpentry details.
Once you have approved the design and quotation, your kitchen designer places the order and we begin production in our joinery workshop in Gräfsnäs, Sweden.
4. Delivery
Your order is ready for delivery from our joinery workshop approximately 7-8 weeks after the order has been placed. All of our joinery products are delivered with fully assembled cabinets and pre-installed drawer and door systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation.
We always provide a 10-year guarantee on cabinets, drawers and fittings.
