VYN Restaurant By Daniel Berlin

In picturesque Österlen, on Sweden's southeast coast, a new culinary hotspot has just opened its doors. Renowned star chef Daniel Berlin, formerly at the helm of the Guide Michelin-endorsed Daniel Berlin Krog, is unveiling Vyn - a modern Scandinavian restaurant with an exclusively designed and custom-made kitchen by Nordiska Kök.

The specially designed wooden kitchen is created by Nordiska Kök exclusively for Daniel Berlin's restaurant.

Vyn Restaurant is located between Brantevik and Skillinge in Österlen, Sweden with a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea.

With the two-Michelin-stars awarded to Daniel Berlin Krog, Daniel established a global reputation for his contemporary Nordic cuisine and sustainable approach. Now, Daniel has entered his next chapter by opening Vyn Restaurant, located in a former farm near Brantevik in Skåne, in the south of Sweden, which is predicted to become a culinary masterpiece.

Beautiful wooden carvings adorn the door to the restaurant.

The kitchen is built in light oak with solid wood frames and drawers.

The location and the ambiance here are unique. We aim to create gastronomy with a strong local focus, using what our seasons provide, accompanied by hospitality that is both intimate and warm.

The kitchen, which is designed exclusively for Vyn Restaurant, features a solid framework in light oak and handmade wooden details. The magnificent kitchen island with gently rounded corners and a quartzite countertop subtly infused with green accents attracts attention to become the focal point of the room.

The kitchen is located in the private dining area where guests can gather around the kitchen island in close proximity to the chef while they prepare the tasting menu of the season. The kitchen's enduring and earthy materials and Scandinavian design blend seamlessly with the restaurant's overall ambience, where wooden surfaces dominate. In addition to the restaurant, there is a hotel consisting of 14 rooms and an ambient food and wine bar that operates on a walk-in basis.

The rounded, site-built kitchen island becomes the focal point where the chefs prepare the tasting menu for the guests.

To work with a Swedish supplier with high ambitions and a philosophy similar to our own, was extremely important to me. In our private dining area, I want the feeling to be intimate with a sense of attention to detail and materials.

The light oak kitchen is specially designed for the restaurant and blends well with the beautiful Chevron Parquet flooring.

The kitchen island's rounded shape and thick quartzite worktop make it a beautiful work of art.

Berlin's trademark food philosophy, grounded in a deep passion for locally sourced ingredients, is equally reflected at Vyn. Here, you will discover innovative Scandinavian dishes made with organic ingredients, the latter of which are soon to be harvested from the lands surrounding the restaurant.

Daniel Berlin's wines are stored in smart wine coolers.

The rear of the kitchen has a thick stainless steel worktop, both practical and stylish.
