For architect Lin Frederiksen’s home in Copenhagen, we created a minimalist light oak kitchen that blends the natural warmth of oak with modern, clean lines – for a sleek, architectural character and a timeless look. At the same time, the kitchen is functional and designed for modern family life and everyday routines.

This light oak kitchen in Scandinavian design is characterised by smooth cabinet fronts in light oak, straight lines, and a clear architectural presence. It features a custom-built bench with hidden storage, a generous social kitchen island, and fully integrated appliances. Oven by Gaggenau.

A light oak kitchen in Scandinavian design, paired with a grey limestone worktop, is a timeless choice – with materials that age beautifully over time.

At the heart of the space, the large kitchen island forms a natural gathering point – a place for conversation as much as for cooking. Tap by Quooker and sink by Decosteel.

The worktop is crafted from grey Jura limestone, adding a subtle, natural texture to the palette.

The clean, minimalist expression of this light oak kitchen is softened by open, rounded shelving – creating space for personal interior details. Behind the tall cabinets with discreet handles, the refrigerator and freezer are seamlessly integrated.

The light, warm oak tones of the cabinets and doors, combined with white walls and abundant natural light, give this minimalist light oak kitchen a warm, calm, and airy atmosphere, and a subtle Japandi aesthetic.

A custom-built bench with drawers provides a comfortable place to sit, while also offering a functional design solution with smart storage.
