The modern Scandinavian meets Japanese in this Japandi-inspired kitchen. A harmonious mix of colors, shapes and materials. The kitchen island and base cabinets in wood are in a dark stained oak, while the wall cabinets draw inspiration from the classic Shaker kitchen in gray. The result is a harmonious and timeless kitchen created for the modern home.

In the beautiful house in Bromma outside of Stockholm, this modern and elegant kitchen has been carefully renovated to suit the family's needs and tastes but with consideration for the home's original architecture. The result was a light-stained wooden kitchen that is coordinated with white, tall cabinets that have softly rounded corners from floor to ceiling. The result is the desired built-in-place feeling. A beautiful dark wooden kitchen gets a modern twist with gray upper cabinets and open shelves in a minimalist style. The upper cabinets have been designed in the same gray tone as the kitchen walls so that the dark-stained frame kitchen takes over and creates a space and a place for the eye to go, which gives the kitchen a more modern Scandinavian look. The best of both worlds if you ask us.

In a beautiful 20th-century house next to the Humlegården, in Stockholm, we have created a stripped-down, elegant kitchen. The warm, dark-stained oak, combined with Shaker doors and high cabinets in light gray complete with a built-in kitchen sofa in black leather give this kitchen a unique, designed appearance without losing the warmth.

Do you help with design and ideas?
Nordiska Kök will of course help you from idea to finished kitchen. We always design our kitchens so that each kitchen is completely unique. At Nordiska Kök there is no "standard" range, but all our kitchen styles can be combined and we create unique kitchens just for you and your home.
Is it possible to combine a wooden kitchen with a painted kitchen?
Yes, at Nordiska Kök you can combine wooden cabinets with painted cabinets, Shaker design with minimalistic design or however you prefer. You can create your unique designer kitchen and combine styles and always choose any color you like for you painted kitchen.
Can I choose any color in the kitchen?
Yes, at Nordiska Kök you can always choose any color, but of course we are happy to guide you if you want to.
