What does an uncompromising design kitchen inspired by nature look like? In an area close to the sea on the West Coast of Sweden, we have built a wooden kitchen that does not compromise on either design or quality.

At the same time as the digital world makes us longing for natural materials, the consumer society makes us drawn to clean and sometimes minimalist living. We simply longing for rooms that grounds us in a calming way.

Simplicity and quality are the watchwords for the 20s and many people dream of kitchens in stone and wood. For this customer, we have designed a kitchen with a clear connection to the beautiful Swedish melancholy, the West Coast's enchanting barren cliffs and European timeless elegance and quality.

The living and natural in stone and wood match nicely with the tactile and handmade ceramics. The cutting board in petrified wood becomes a perfect companion to the limestone.

The asymmetrically shaped lamps from Tom Dixon and the minimalist faucet in chrome perfectly match the cooler tone of the stone and the organic pattern in both stone slabs and wooden shutters.

The composing limestone not only covers the walls but has also framed the kitchen island in the middle of the room. In front of the window is the kitchen's second sink - a luxury many home cooks dream of.

Next to the refrigerator is a site-built oak shelf where you can place cookbooks and other nice things that add feeling to the room. The location still makes it a very discreet because it is hidden behind the fridge from several angles.

The joy of cooking! On the inside of the kitchen island there are both a wine cooler, a steam oven and a baking oven. In addition, there is access to an extra faucet and sink so you do not have to move to the other side of the kitchen to fetch water for the pasta pan.
